What a great experience!

I'm sorry that I have not posted much in the last few weeks. It has been super busy around here...

I was lucky enough to be a finalist in the Mrs. Wyoming Pageant. What a wonderful experience that was! It was a lot of work, but it was also a lot of fun. After the pageant was over, my husband and I went out to dinner in our formal wear; the looks that we were getting were priceless!

Alas, I did not win or place, or show for that matter... I was a top 40 contestant... :) The new Mrs. Wyoming is a gracious person who spent considerable time preparing for this pageant. I can definitely say that I learned something from her!

I came away without any feelings of sadness until I began to watch the Miss Universe pageant, then I cried. I cried because the pageant that I was in was over and I no longer had it too look forward to. I think that I might compete again one more time, but it will not be for a few years. There is a lot more to it than I thought and I would like to be prepared better next time around..

Thank you for all of the well wishes, they were greatly appreciated! For any of my gals in the pageant who read this, don't be a stranger...

Always,

Nona
